NHK News Web Easier provides content for peoplewishing to learn Japanese, in the form of text, voice and video.
If you're unfamiliar with Rikaichamp, it does a few things that I consider vital (for myself) as a beginner learning Kanji and vocab/grammar. Basically, it detects Kanji on mouse-hover and gives you a list of (typically Kun'yomi) readings, along with meanings and the type/tense of the word. Make Microsoft Edge your own with extensions that help you personalize the browser and be more productive.
